Page Speed Optimizer
Magento Version: Magento 2.x.x
- Move all scripts to the bottom of the page to boost page speed load
- Page content preloading
- Disable images, CSS and JS elements from the source code to discover page load issues
Page Speed Optimizer module for Magento 2 helps to increase page speed load by 10%.
The module transfers scripts from the head tag to the bottom of the page, thereby speeding up the display of content on the page. Moreover, the solution allows store owners to preload content that they will need later. The idea of preloading is to load the necessary styles in advance, and then instantly display them when necessary. To preload pages, the module contains the next settings:
- URLs to Preconnect to from Home Page
- URLs to Preconnect to from Category Page
- URLs to Preconnect to from Product Page
- URLs to Preconnect to from All Other Pages
These fields should contain links to domains with which you need to establish a connection in advance on a certain page.
In addition, Page Speed Optimizer allows you to disable certain elements from the source code of web pages like images, JS and CSS. This feature allows testing page load speed without a specific parameter to find out which element slows down the page load.
