Same Layout Page Cache

Same Layout Page Cache for Magento allows caching the same layout for the category and product pages. Layout caching helps to boost website performance and reduce the server load. However, caching the same layout for each page takes lots of resources, which worsens overall performance. If you have thousands of pages it's better to cache one layout for all pages. As every page has a personal ID in the cache key, it's impossible to cache the same layout for everything. Our extension removes unnecessary code lines that forbid caching the same layouts for different store pages.

How to test the extension?

1. The first download, cash is enabled and cleaned, the extension is disabled, the condition is not true, layout updates anew. The second download, another product, the condition is not true, layout updates anew. It means that the layout will update anew if the module is disabled.
2. The first download, cash is enabled and cleaned, the extension is enabled, the condition is not true, layout updates anew. The second download, another product, the condition is not true, layout updates from cash. It means that the layout will update from cash if the module is enabled.

Compare log information

If the extension is enabled, the sequence is the following:

(extension settings: Enable - Yes, Enable Debug Log - Yes):
2016-01-28UTC08:17:05_product_13622_nocache - the cache is empty and doesn't download;
2016-01-28UTC08:19:42_product-13622_cache - product has been cached and downloaded from the cache;
2016-01-28UTC08:30:46_product-63053_cache - product with another id has been downloaded from the cache, it means that the extension works.

If the extension is disabled, the log information looks like this: 

(Enable - No, Enable Debug Log - Yes):

2016-01-28UTC08:17:05_product_13622_nocache - the cache is empty and doesn't download;
2016-01-28UTC08:19:42_product-13622_cache - product has been cashed and downloaded from the cache;
2016-01-28UTC08:30:46_product-63053_nocache - product with another id hasn't been downloaded from the cache, it means that the extension doesn't work.
